Manchester United are lining up a moves for Roma man Lorenzo Pellegrini.

He has been in one of the stars of Serie A so far this season and his release clause of £26.5m has alerted several clubs from across Europe.

Italian sides AC Milan and Juventus are thought to be keeping tabs on his situation with Roma apparently planning a new deal to ward off interest.

Calciomercato indicates that Jose Mourinho wants to sign the 22-year-old during the January transfer window.

The release clause is activated in the summer of 2019 and the race is on for his signature.

Diaz deal close

Manchester City youngster Brahim Diaz have reportedly agreed a deal with Real Madrid.

The youngster scored twice during City's 2-0 win over Fulham in the Carabao Cup recently and he is highly-rated at the Etihad Stadium.

However, he is yet to pen a new contract with his deal expiring in the summer.

A £60,000-a-week deal has now apparently been agreed as Madrid look to snare the talented attacker.

Diaz is two months away from being able to agree a pre-contract deal with a foreign club.
